An international artist, Paulina has studied art in schools throughout Russia, Europe and the United States. Over the past seventeen years,
Paulina’s work has had a number of foci, from the traditional figure and still life drawings, which dominated her earlier years, to more recent abstract explorations of color and texture.

A drawer rather than painter, Paulina is fascinated by the beauty of lines and the strength of color. While her subject matter and style may vary greatly, Paulina’s efforts have always focused on the expression of strong emotion through two-dimensional means. She is inspired by personal relationships, the environment, and current affairs alike, and has a particular fondness for plant life.

Paulina prefers to work on a larger scale, her biggest work to date being a 15x60 foot backdrop of New York City for the production of “Hello Dolly!” She enjoys different media and has been experimenting with silk painting the last two years. In her spare time, Paulina works as a molecular biologist, seeking to appreciate the beauty and simplicity of biological processes.

All work is for sale unless otherwise noted. Please ontact Paulina with any inquiries.
